Even though this song has various meanings and interpretations, and many of them, for lack of a better term, are “sad”, this song was definitely played in the soundtrack of my summer in 2013.
Specifically, the lyrics above were analogous to how I wanted to close the Orlando chapter in my life- to put forth all of my energy, every fiber in my being, to having an amazing time and leaving on a high note.
I made a bucket list of the top things I wanted to enjoy at least one last time in Orlando, Florida.

And the best going away party ever…in Atlanta

I am absolutely blessed to have all of these opportunities. Although I didn’t get to see and do every single thing on my list (missed out on two things), I’m happy I made such an aggressive list because now I have zero regrets. So as I close one chapter…

… I begin another.

A part of me will always remain in Orlando, but cheers to what the future holds!
